There is an unprecedented global shortage of MAN 48/60B and 58/64 A engine cylinder heads. At CIWS, we offer several solutions:
Remanufacture: Send us your current cylinder head, and within six weeks, we’ll return it to your vessel or plant in its original operational specification, regardless of its current condition.
Service Exchange: While supplies last, we have a limited number of heads available for service exchange. You can receive an original condition head in approximately two weeks, and we’ll accept your damaged head later to replenish our stock (conditions apply).
Outright Sale: In specific cases, CIWS may offer cylinder heads for outright purchase (subject to stock availability).
In all cases, our cylinder heads feature:
- New OEM specification STANDARD SIZE seats, guides, injectors, etc. (details available upon request)
- Optional Lloyds class certificate
- Standard commercial warranty, matching the OEM warranty period for a new head
- Proper packing
